Howick Health and Medical Centre is fortunate to have a group of dedicated, experienced and compassionate qualified doctors. We are a RNZCGP endorsed teaching practice.

Our doctors are culturally competent with a variety of skills, to provide high-quality care to the local Howick area as well as the surrounding suburbs. They are all local to the East Auckland area and are committed in the long term to helping your short and long term health needs.

This has been shown in past surveys and again reiterated in a recent survey ( 12 months to February 2025) called the 'Adult primary care patient experience survey' where we scored highly when compared to practices in the Counties Manukau area (which included the surrounding local practices).

Three of the questions patients asked included 'not being treated unfairly' , 'treated with respect and kindness by reception/admin staff' and 'did the health care professional explain things in a way you could understand.

Our scores (Counties Manukau practices in brackets) were 99% (89%), 98% (91%) and 98% (92%) respectively!

As well as providing general health care for your family, we also perform well-person checks, travel health checks, and skin cancer surgery.

Howick Health and Medical is a teaching practice that involves participation in a Continuous Improvement Programme that strives to deliver high-quality patient-centred health care in a culturally appropriate manner.
